A little now. Remember later.
Book and chapter carry forward. Manual content is preserved exactly. Plain text only; HTML is displayed literally.
Your growing collection
Export includes all active, new or changed notes, independent of this search. Archiving only excludes future exports; it does not delete cards from Anki.
From excerpts to study-ready notes
1. Send AI excerpts to your model
Manual Basic and Cloze notes bypass AI and are included directly in the final export. AI requests contain only excerpts needing conversion. If no AI excerpts have been added, you can proceed directly to export your TSV without exporting or importing AI requests.
Hide requests individually, or hide all imported and cancelled requests. Hiding keeps the request and its status in your project JSON; it does not cancel a pending request.
2. Bring the AI response back
Skip this step if you only captured manual notes. Import the response, then review the generated notes in the library.
Dropping or choosing a file loads it for validation; it does not import it yet.
3. Prepare and download Anki files
Exports combine your handwritten notes and converted AI notes.
A TSV contains note data, not Anki card templates. Create the custom note types using before importing. Basic TSVs require Textbook Basic ID, cloned from Basic. Cloze TSVs require Textbook Cloze ID, cloned from Cloze. Selecting a deck does not select a note type.
On Anki’s import screen, verify the exact note type, StableID → StableID, and the remaining field mappings. Use Update and Note type matching. A Basic TSV imported with a Cloze template causes “No cloze found.”
The optional manifest is a record of one export batch (its notes, IDs, and confirmation status when downloaded). It is not imported into Anki and is not your JSON master. Your master comes from Save project JSON.
Hide individual batches below, or hide all fully confirmed exports. Hidden batches remain in your project JSON, with their download links and import history available when shown.
4. Confirm successful imports and save your master
After Anki successfully imports each TSV and its cards preview correctly, use that batch’s confirmation button above. Then save your full project.
Project & recovery
Browser storage is a convenience, not a backup. Save a JSON master after each session and after confirming an Anki import. Move that JSON together with this HTML to another computer. Keep dated backups; restoring replaces this browser’s current project.
